What is the shelf life of lavender oil?

Our lavender oil has 3 year shelf life after production for unopened bottles. We recommend that they are stored with minimum exposure to the light at room temperature.
Where is your lavender oil sourced from?

It is sourced from Western Turkey - more specifically from the skirts of the mythological Mount Ida where we are practising our lavender growing activities.
Is Ida Scent lavender oil pure and natural?

Yes. We sell the oil of lavender we grow ourselves and also we buy some from our neighbouring fields which are all family owned businesses practising fully natural farming. In short we sell products which we can touch phisically when growing. Still we have all our batches analysed with gas chromotographer for our records.
How do you ensure the quality of your lavender oil?

We do not use any pesticide in our fields. We apply only physical weed control methods. It takes a lot of hard work and labor. It is more costly. But we believe that it is the best for our community and for the quality of our end product.
Is lavender oil safe for our pets?

As long as you do not apply it directly on the skin of your pet or contaminate to the food there should not be any problem. However, we always recommend you to consult with a vet.
Which countries do you ship to your products?

It is only the UK and Turkey at the moment.
Do you have physical retail stores in the UK?

We set up our UK business during the pandemic when most of the commercial activities were moving into online platform. However, we believe the spirit and the value of human interaction in our daily life. Once we ensure to provide competitive prices for our products, we may consider to reach our UK customers with our physical shops too.
